Welcome to MS BrainLab

Welcome to the Min Soo Kim lab (MS BrainLab) at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

We focus on understanding and controlling neuro-immunity to slow down or reverse aging processes using neural stem cells and neuro-endocrine hormones.

The brain plays a central role not only in cognition and memory but also in regulating the body's responses.

Our research aims to address aging-related diseases such as typical aging, Alzheimer’s disease, metabolic syndrome, vascular AD, and sarcopenia by targeting brain cells.

Additionally, we investigate developmental disorders, autism, and depression.

Our multidisciplinary approach integrates research on novel signaling pathways in aging, autism, and depression, neural stem cells and exosomes, the neuroendocrine system in diseases, engineering of exosomal miRNA and nanoparticles, and the application of chemicals to alleviate disease symptoms.
